Forthcoming Art Fairs

Parafin will make its debut at The Armory Show in 2018 with a solo 'Presents' booth with new work by Justin Mortimer.

Parafin will participate at Art Brussels for the third time in 2018, this year showing work by Czech painter Hynek Martinec in the 'Discovery' section.

Past Art Fairs

Parafin will make its debut at Photo London in 2017 with the curated presentation 'Black Light', showing early works by Tim Head alongside work by Nancy Holt, Michelle Stuart and Katie Paterson.

Indrė Šerpytytė will premiere new works from her Pedestal series in the Focus section of Frieze New York at Randall's Island Park.

The dramatic Tour and Taxis building will host Art Brussels again in 2017. Parafin will show in the main section, with work by three artists often referencing Old Masters in their work: Alison Watt, Hugo Wilson, and Uwe Wittwer.

Parafin will be showing early work by Michelle Stuart, including a series made in England between 1979-80, in the 'Spotlight' section of Frieze Masters in October 2016.

Frieze Sculpture Park
Fernando Casasempere: Second Skin

Chilean sculptor Fernando Casasempere will create a new site-specific installation for Frieze Sculpture Park comprising over 1,500 hand-sculpted porcelain elements. The carpet of porcelain will form a 'second skin' hovering over the ground of Regent's Park, mirroring its contours but also allowing the grass below to grow through the work, creating a direct relationship between sculpture and ground.

Parafin will showcase rarely seen work by Nancy Holt in the 'Spotlight' section of Frieze Art Fair New York.

Parafin will participate in the 'Main' section of Art Brussels in 2016, taking place in a new location, the Tour & Taxis, a turn of the 20th century industrial customs house located in central Brussels.
